How to add a line plot onto a stacked plot in Excel

How can I add a single curved line plot onto a stacked plot

Add the data to the chart (copy the data, select the chart, and paste; or go
to Chart menu > Source Data > Series tab, click Add, and select the range).
Select just the new series, which is added as another item stacked on top of
the rest, and go to Chart menu > Chart Type, and choose a line type that
suits your needs.
