EXTRA! EXTRA! Sugien aka "Dimbulb" submits pic to acv gallery

Sugien, aka "Dimbulb", has finally come to his senses and realized the
definition of PARODY and SATIRE and officially submitted his photo to
the acv gallery. He's on page 4 -- right next to pcbutts1.

His e-mail was a poignant tribute to life, liberty and the pursuit of
"principals". (Not to be confused with "principles", I guess, LMAO!)

He wrote:

"You have my permission to use any picture of me you like that you all
ready have. [....] us what ever picture you like with my blessings."

Though I may still have a copy of the infamous 18" schlong animation --
which was somehow saved to my computer after viewing the old 4Q site a
few years ago -- I posted the photo he sent me.

He also sent me a clip from his local newspaper about he and his FAT
WIFE's 25th wedding anniversary, which included their wedding photo.
(For those of you that are curious, yes, she was then, too.)

What struck my eye about this old wedding photo is that right under the
white carnation on his lapel is the number "6". Now by itself that would
have no significance, but upon closer inspection I saw two more "6s" in
the ruffles of his shirt. Hmm...

Dimbulb went on to say that after looking at the photo of the late Simon
"Pratman" Widlake on the gallery's "in memoriam" page, he believes The
End Is Near. He said Pratman's face looked swollen, and since his own
face is swollen, he thinks he's going to die soon.

Perhaps he believes it's a self-fulfilling prophecy... After all, he
posted a pic holding a gun to his head on his myspace page, with the
caption, "Hillbilly suscide". [sic]

Anyway, looks like the thought of the Grim Reaper paying his trailer a
li'l visit was just the wake-up call Dimbulb needed to understand PARODY
and SATIRE. He closed his e-mail by saying, "Now however it really
doesn't make any difference".

In the meantime, I'm going to "friend" Sooooooooooge on myspace. I ask
everyone here with a myspace page to "friend" him, too. And please tell
all your friends with myspace pages to do the same. Since the end of his
life may be just around the corner, Sooooooge probably needs all the
friends he can get.

I'd like to make two points here.

First, Paul may not be the consummate wordsmith that some would like
to read, but he's certainly not stupid. In the many years that I've
spent in AHM and 2600, I've seen him pull some pretty slick tricks.
Did he write 100 percent of the code required to accomplish all of
those feats himself? Perhaps not in some cases, but he quite obviously
understood the code and how to manipulate it. Inquiring as to the
"original author" of code of this nature is a is a bit like asking if
the guy that just put a .50 cal. round between your eyes from a mile
away built each and every piece of the rifle. Whether the answer is
yes or no, the results are the same and the results are the entire
point of the exercise, so who really cares? At any rate, the simple
fact is that you can't be a "dimbulb" and accomplish the things that I
personally have seen him accomplish.

Second, if that pic of pcbutts1 is legit, HO-LEE-GAWD, that girl can
infect me ANYTIME. (Sorry Paul... love ya and all, but I'm quite sure
that you're fully aware of the fact that I'd sell out my own mother
for a hot chick. ;-) )

It's akin to judging a book by it's cover, and not the content.
I'm glad someone else has decided to speak up, Sugien isn't the idiot
savant various individuals have tried to claim he is. At one point, I was
one of those assholes, but I've been studying his work and his progress;
and hell, even a coder ripper as it were, has to understand what he's
doing to make it work.

And in the end, it doesn't matter anymore if you wrote all of the code
yourself. If everybody still did that, no progress would be made. Their
exists libraries and code sites for a reason. Code is meant to be used,
far and wide. Adapted for many uses.

Even in VXer circles, code is recycled often. Not very much of it can
really be called original work. Everyone has to learn from someone else.
