Fixing the via bugs
The day after tomorrow I will be the proud owner of a MSI KT3 Ultra mainboard, but I heard of several via bugs (this is my first VIA Athlon mainboard). I will be running windows xp on it. I've heard of audigy bugs, PCI bugs,...
What to do, to make all this disappear? I have a PCI ATA controller and Audigy. |

Install XP and the VIA 4-1 4.38a drivers.

If you need to "fix it" check your BIOS and set it under 128, say 64.
 I don't think you will have any problems with a "clean" installation of XP and updated drivers. |
