This is why Vista is the ****s to use. I simply download Firefox and
Tor. It works when I have downloaded it. When I shut it down and Start up with the Firefox Browser it will never bind to Tor. This is what I get. This is Privoxy 3.0.6 on deja (127.0.0.1), port 8118, enabled Privoxy Menu: View & change the current configuration View the source code version numbers View the request headers. Look up which actions apply to a URL and why Toggle Privoxy on or off Documentation Support and Service via Sourceforge: We value your feedback. To provide you with the best support, we ask that you: use the support forum to get help. submit ads and configuration related problems with the actions file through the Actionsfile Feedback Tracker. submit bugs only through our bug tracker. Make sure that the bug has not yet been submitted. submit feature requests only through our feature request tracker. The only way I can get it to work is to competently download Firefox and Tor again and it works. I cannot keep downloading it every time I want to use Tor and Firefox. Vista is an unstable O/S and hard to work with. I have given it a fare shake and I do not feel it is me or the way I am using it. It is just a bad O/S and you should avoid buying or upgrading to it. Stick with XP as long as you can or use another O/ S like Lunix. Sorry Vista MVP's but that is the way it is. Microsoft is going to have a hard time getting business's to use it, as the word is out that it is bad O/S. |

Thank GOD you spoke. Nobody else knew that Vista was BAD. You should
immediately wipe Vista from your PC, install Ubuntu, then join the club with Kevin Putzke, Just FYI, as an Ubuntu evangelist. That just might make Alias proud to have another GENIUS on the team. Just FYI "Michael Yardley" <middleton@mail.org> wrote in message news:1194479961.220182.22750@o80g2000hse.googlegroups.com... > This is why Vista is the ****s to use. So. You have a program interaction between Firefox and Tor.
Businesses have no need for Tor. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) "Michael Yardley" <middleton@mail.org> wrote in message news:1194479961.220182.22750@o80g2000hse.googlegroups.com... > This is why Vista is the ****s to use. You are not using Vista anymore, remember?
You went back to '98. So f**k off! "Michael Yardley" wrote: > This is why Vista is the ****s to use. I simply download Firefox and > Tor. It works when I have downloaded it. Vista is very bad.
but here you will get mostly stupid replies from fanboys attacking you because you had the courage to stand up to the system that wants to gobble everything up. Shouldn't you be looking for support on Mozilla's and Tor's web sites instead of here? Jan |
