Default How do I get rid of messaging interface error?

Whe I try to enter an appointment in my calendar, I receive "The messaging
interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart
Outlook." I have done this several times and nothing has worked. I tried the
detect and repair under the help button. When I shut down Outlook, a message
from Microsoft pops up about an error and an error report is sent. How can I
fix these problems?

Hi Peer,

I prefer to create a new Outlook profile:

How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2002?:

How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2003?:

Maybe it helps.
