I have an application that used JRE and Java3D. On other operating systems,
my clients will connect to the server and the JRE and Java3D will install automatically. When I try this with a Vista Client, the results are different. I am not able to install the Java3D. I believe it's Vista permission based. Does anyone know of a workaround that I can use to solve this problem for my Vista users? Asking them to manually install Java3d is so uncool. Thanks. Peggy |

Do you have the latest version of the Java Runtime Standard Edition 6
installed? That version supports Vista x86. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E8E5CC039D51E3DB!9709.entry "Pegz" <Pegz@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:70C51946-09EF-40B8-9426-7BD86B40D0EE@microsoft.com... >I have an application that used JRE and Java3D. We are using Java 6 and Java3d 1.5.1. Testing for Vista has included all 32
bit platforms. "Andre Da Costa[ActiveWin]" wrote: > Do you have the latest version of the Java Runtime Standard Edition 6 > installed?
