Default WMP 11 Vista - Black/White Only

All video is displayed in black and white, no color! Looks like an x-ray.
Unable to get back correct display. Any suggestions?

does it only happens with windows media player? there is a way to change the
colour back if you have changed it before by going to view > enhancements >
video settings. and turning everything back to normal. It could also be a
problem with your codecs have you downloaded any new ones and what type of
file are you playing. try installing the klite code pack just search for it
on google.

Thanks Matt but after installing K-Lite Codex Pack there was no change, still
black and white. This occurs with WPM 11 and PowerDVD 7(Cyberlink) software.
The last time the display was correct was prior to using Adobe Ultra 3 to
produce a video. I've looked at all options within Ultra 3 as well as Adobe
Premiere for a cure but found nothing. Still hoping someone else has run
into the same problem! Thanks again..

No fix found for problem. Spent the last 2 days restoring drive. All is
back to normal. Note: SYSTEM RESTORE under Vista does NOT work when Norton
Internet Security is installed. Had to uninstall Norton prior to restoring
system, then reinstall Norton. You won't find this info available from
either company. Thanks Microsoft and Symantec for making sure your software
works for the consumer....
