OK. I'm at wits.
I have installed WXPeSP1. I went to the web site and downloaded all the QFEs for XPeSP1. None of them run. Every time I try to run one of the QFEs I get this message: "QFE Installer Error A new platform object needs to be installed before this update can be installed. Please download the latest platform update from http://www.microsoft.com/enabled and install it before attempting to install this QFE. Setup cannot continue." I have searched high and low on the web site and on the 2 CDs that came with WXPeSP1. What "platform object" are they talking about? Is this a QFE that needs to be installed first? Is this some other update for the product? Thanks, Nick. |

Hi Ten,
You need to install Q811279 from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/em...tes/default.asp BEFORE you will be able to install any others. Hope this helps, Lynda [MS] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights "Ten" <nick.bartolotti@tentechnologies.com> wrote in message news:%23HFm1JCPDHA.560@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > OK.
