Order your eval kit of XPe-SP1 for less than 3 dollars here:
https://www.interactservices.com/Wi...ed/Products.asp Read about the system requirements for your development machine/server here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/Em...uation/sysreqs/ Andy -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. ========================================================== "jsl" <jsl@nositec.com> wrote in message news:#eYxjyyODHA.3700@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > Where can I find the target designer to download? Thanks,
The use of the Target Designer could help me to install MDAC OLEDB components to the XPe system? To be clear, jsl's previous questions in this NG have revolved around adding
functionality to a shipping device - within a post FBA runtime, a thin client with XPe already installed. If that is still the case, then TD will not be able to assist you in adding new/updated features after FBA. Oh - I thought he was building on OS from scratch.
Target Designer helps you create an OS image, not augment an existing one. This still answers your question. If you want MSDE to be in an image, either it -or- appropriate install support needs to be in the INITIAL image.
