Default EWF ON COMPACT FLASH

i use the microsoft procedure "HOW TO CONFIGURE EWF FOR
COMPACT FLASH", I run fba agenton hd and, and verify the
registry ewf good configure, and run etprep, but when copy
the immagine post boot on compact flash, the compact isn't
protected by EWF.
For copy i use:
PC with windows 2000 professional
comand xcopy
and the adapter usb to compact flash
It is good this configure for copy?????
IF i must configure the compact flash in this mode:
one partition ewf protected with the possibility of use
ewfmgr.exe for enable and disable EWF
One partition NOT ewf protected
Can you help me for this configure?
It is possible mark compact flash as fixed disk ?

Check Google Groups for assistance in some of your basic CF questions, read
this thread for a contact at SanDisk that may help you with the NDA you need
to agree to before you can receive the utility to mark their cards as
non-removable:
