Default Thanks to Gary VanderMolen

Dear Gary,

I checked with RCN and they told me the settings were fine, so I followed
the advice you gave to Chris and Dave. I deleted Norton Anti-virus,
restarted Windows Mail, then recreated the account, typing in POP and SMTP
again.

Thank you!!! Everything is working fine now. Just like magic.

Sab

Thanks for that feedback, and for having some initiative.
It is surprising how many people, even when advised by experts,
won't even try a temporary uninstall of their antivirus.
