Default pps archives do not open in Windows Mail

In Windows Mail the Power Point presentation arquives attached to the message
can not be opened ! If you double click in attach archive does the message:
"that is a unknowed extension. Want to make a association to a program?" Note
that I have the Power Point Viewer 2007 instaled and the association of .pps
archives is ok! Can you fix this bug ? Thank you a lot.
