surprised you didnt go for the faster model - not much more cost wise but a bit of a boost in speed - but you still got a very nice piece of hardware there.... almost as nice as my enermax 550w psu

Going from a 4x writer to 32x is one big leap for man ... err, I mean me.

And at just under £50 inc’ VAT I think this will last me for a little yet, and congrats' on your Enermax, nice aren’t they.

Nice new toy Mucks, that's a fine product, I'm still happy with my 16 speed Liteon CDRW.

I also just bought the Liteon 163 model Liteon DVD drive, another nice piece of kit. £35.00 from a computer fair.

Thank you People.

Now all I have to do is find some CD-R's that are cet' 32x ... and cheap.

Flopps, that was a good price, especially for London, £35 inc VAT is the cheapest I can find (and a Lite-On) at trade. :brow:

I remember my first burner....
it was a Mitsumi 24X4X2 and cost me $700 back when CDRs were $5 each
Unfortunately my PC could only cope with 2X burning lol

ahhh...the good old days
