Yes, assuming the upgrade is retail and not OEM.
Also, you will need to remove Ultimate from the first computer since it can only be installed on one computer at a time. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] Windows Server System - Microsoft Update Services http://www3.telus.net/dandemar "bob" <bob@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CDF3C241-C4DC-48B4-AA36-4AD110C25949@microsoft.com... > If I buy a copy vista ultimate upgrade for my xp when I buy a new > computer, > with home premium can I transfer ultimate to the new computer. |

Hi,
Yes, assuming you remove it from the XP computer. The license is good to upgrade a single system. To upgrade additional systems you need to purchase additional license. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "bob" <bob@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CDF3C241-C4DC-48B4-AA36-4AD110C25949@microsoft.com... > If I buy a copy vista ultimate upgrade for my xp when I buy a new > computer, > with home premium can I transfer ultimate to the new computer. |
