My print screen button is not working. I press the button and try to paste
into paint but the paste button isn't even highlighted. There is just nothing there. Have also tried alt+printscreen. Is there some sort of set up I need to do before using the button? |

This should work as it did on previous versions of Windows. If you are using one of the many custom keyboards or wireless keyboards, there could be something in the settings for that device that is interferring with this procedure. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "kimereso" <kimereso@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E2A2088F-745F-4441-BDA7-F85E29ACEB00@microsoft.com... > My print screen button is not working. Hit PrntScrn button, open Paint, hit Edit-Paste and voila! there's the "full screen" screen capture. Works with Alt-PrntScrn to capture windows too. Lang |

If there is a F-Lock key on the keyboard, you might try hitting that once and then try the print screen key again. -Paul Randall |
