Default Windows Mail filing attachment solution

I had the same problem today where I could not save my attachments from
Windows Mail. Two errors I received: 1) that my file was too large to file,
the other I did not have permission access and that I needed administrative
rights.

To solve both issues, just right click on the folder you which to file and
go to properties. Under security tab, select your User Name. Make sure that
you have Full Control of your file, if not, edit and select full access.
Once you click Apply, and OK. It will ask if you wish to apply those same
settings to all your folders. Close Windows Mail, if possible reboot, then
try opening the same email and try to save the attachment. It should work.

One note: I did not have to disable Norton or any firewall in my system to
do this. Make sure thought, under Control Panel, Accounts, that you are the
administrator, and you have set yourself as the Owner. If you are not, and
you have Standard settings you will not be able to make these system changes.

Hopefully this will solve most of your problems.

Now I'm able to open pdf's, and word files as well as save them in any
folder I wish.
