Default why is CISC winning out over RISC?


Macs now running Intel ...
I suppose it's price .. even though CISC processors are slower they are
cheap enough to mitigate this .. How long before Intel move in on embedded
devices?

Intel has been in the embedded business for ...ever, they are just in items
that you don't get inside of every day (i.e. VCR's, set top boxes,
Automobile PCM's, etc.)
