It seems the most popular program that most use is Imagegrabber. It's
from a little known site and is recommended on Videohelp.com. I just scanned some downloads and compared them with files I downloaded from the site some time ago. All three had problems when scanned on Jotti and Virustotal, although the major AV engines had it clean, and Jotti mentioned that the heuristics used by one program may have caused a false positive. Anyone using the program and have any comments? Yesterday Imagegrabber I, II and .net were back up and today they were down. http://www45.brinkster.com/antworkz/ I downloaded all three, and sent Image Grabber.net to Virustotal as a precaution. MY NOD32, and anti-spyware programs said it was clean. Has anyone tried the latest versions? Imagegrabber will scan the whole file (even if it's over 500 mg), and will is very configurable. It will not only put the name and size of the file on the cap summary, but you can tell it how many caps you want and the size. For example, if you want 8 rows and 5 columns of caps (40 caps) and the file is 20 minutes long, Imagegrabber will "snap" a screencap every 30 seconds, and combine all of them in one "contact sheet" jpg. |
