I've got to say I'm impressed with Kaspersky, although I have used AVG
religiously for 4 years. I plan to remove Norton on the folks PC, and replace it with Kaspersky AV. "David H. Thanks for the link Waldo...
The data does look inpressive for NOD32 and Kaspersky. Although I use AVG, it could be a better product. Its not to say I haven't had my problems with it in 4 years. Just recently - I decided to give Kaspersky Labs Free Online Scanner something to do, and was amazed when it found three viruses in C:\_recycler - as well as 9 other infected items in an Outlook express backup I had - and also in a deleted files.dbx on a unused backup account I have - which has since been disabled. AVG didn't seem to be able to find them as most of the daily tests I was running kept coming back clean. A few hours later - after going in and cleaning up the problem areas, a rescan online verified I was good to go.
