Default configure AVG

I recently switched from dialup to an aircard, my AVG tries to dial
in, I can't find in the control center how to tell AVG to just use the
current connection (aircard).
Thanks in advance.

Maybe not an AVG setting.
Look at Internet Options in Control Panel.
Under Connections, is Dialup set to "Never Dial ..." ?

AVG is probably trying to update itself via dialup.

Open the AVG Control Center, highlight the big "Update Manager" button
and click "settings" at the bottom of the Control Center.

Go to the "Dial-Up" tab and uncheck the box for "Use Dial-up Connections"

Ah, good advice.
I was looking under "properties", but not settings, so I never saw that.

I am using version 7.5.446 and I don't have that option, I have on the
top, service/program settings, there's nothing in there about dialup,
under "test center", I have "check for updates" but there's just
"internet" and "folder" I looked through the help files for dial-up,
it says "Update Manager - AVG Inet/Dial-Up Tab" I have no update
manage, I looked through every tab, setting etc, in control center and
test center, it just is not there! What am I doing wrong??????
Thanks

I have 7.5.446 also.
The option is definitely there.
Double click the AVG icon in taskbar.
You should see all the components of AVG, either in reduced or extended
mode. This is the Control Center. Extended is perhaps visually easier
(change under View drop down).
Click Update Manager.
Then either right click and select "settings" of the 3 choices.
Or click Settings button at bottom of screen.
The Dialup option box is there.
