Hi,
I seem to have the same problem and tried the KB928233 solution. Only bad thing is, I have 7 SubEntries in "Interfaces\" and seem to be too stupid to find out the "{GUID}" of my NIC. Can you help me how to find that one out? Thanks, Georg "Gunrunnerjohn" wrote: > On Tue, 21 Aug 2007 09:36:04 -0700, snappy <snappy@discussions.microsoft.com> > wrote: > > >i am having trouble when i am in a hotel getting on the net ...my wireless > >works fine my other laptop which i am on now works as soon as i plug in the > >ethernet cable ...help i am fairly decent with computer but definately no > >expert ..i have flush and release and renewed only to get the same problem > >...this is driving me nuts thanks for any help > > Take a look a this topic: Vista Can't obtain IP address from some DHCP Servers > at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928233/en-us It may address that issue. > > John Will > Microsoft MVP - Networking > |
