Default wireless problem

am attempting to use a sprint usb wireless adapter to internet access.
it is a Sierra Wireless Air Card 595U.
problem I am having is the device drops on an off the system. from NO DEVICE to NOT CONNECTED status in their software.
the lights on the device blink from Green to Red and back.

anyone have any idea where to start.
sprint has recommended taking it to a store and having them check the device.

Default Re: wireless problem

turns out the card is defective.
another higher tech helped and determined the battery is defective and causing the problem.
