Default Vista re-activation - ok after 120 days?

I want to reinstall Vista (my system has got really cluttered up with
all sorts of rubbish).

At the same time, I'm going to replace the graphics card and add some
memory.

Vista was initially installed 145 days ago - am I correct in assuming
that because 120 days have passed, I can reinstall and activate
automatically via the net without a problem? Even though I'm making
some minor hardware changes? Or will the activation process think I'm
trying to install on a different machine and fail?

(I seem to recall something about 120 days "wiping the slate
clean"with XP activation?).

Any help appreciated.

There is no "wiping the slate clean" with activation!
When you try and reactivate it, take the phone option.

This is true with XP, so it might also have carried over to Vista. Let us
know.

Go on and try it. The worst you can do is make a fool of yourself in front
of all your friends.
