Default Windows Movie Maker Crashing

I am using a brand new computer with a ton of RAM and Vista Ultimate
operating system and for some reason my movie (the first one I have tried)
keeps crashing right before the credits roll. I went in an unchecks the
compatability stuff from an earlier pst (an now I cant see me video clips
either - a separate problem) and its still crashing. Should have gone with a
MAC!
