How are you changing the file?
It sounds like you are just changing the file extension, which doesn't change the file, a word document won't open up in excel if you just change teh file extension. It needs to be converted, sue something like RAD video tools, more suggestions and links to the software here http://www.myvideoproblems.com/WebP...lProgrammes.htm -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.com "stovies" <stovies@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A0B01546-9E18-405E-BEE3-07749A721249@microsoft.com... > No matter what format I change them in to they still won't go in to the > movie > maker > > "stovies" wrote: > >> copy of earler message. >> > > Hi All, >> > > I have a JVC digital camcorder and I know the problems with the .mov >> > > filesbut thats ok what I can't do is import the clips to movie maker? >> > > I >> > > comes >> > > up with a message saying >> > > 'Desktop\MOV003.wmv could not be imported.
