Unable to install Movie maker.

Default Unable to install Movie maker.


Hello,when i DL the movie maker from tinyurl.com , i got through the save
thing and saved to desktop,now when i try to open and i tries to extract
files from it, when it finishes it brings up this ''Windows movie maker 2 can
only be installed on the microsoft windows XP operating system.'' , Now what
i dont get is,my Computer is run'd by microsoft xp,so if anyone can help me
out that be great.

First...go to...Start / Run...and type...
moviemk.exe
Press enter and if Movie Maker is
installed on your system...it will launch.

Next...right click your My Computer
icon and choose...Properties...tell us
what it says just below...System.

Ah i see whats happening,never really checked myself until i read the post.
The system it says i have is Microsoft windows 2000, under it says 5.00.2195.
and under that it says service pack 4. so ya im thinking theres no way to DL
this then,but if you know of another internet site to make movies for
games,etc... that be great.

That explains it and as you have discovered...
Movie Maker does not run on Win2000.

Sorry, I have no info on movie making software
for Win2000.
