Adding Audio to a slideshow

I am trying to add different audio clips to my picture slide show. I would
like to select when the audio starts and stops, but everytime I drag a new
audio clip to the timeline, it gets rid of the one that was there. How do I
fix this?

If you drop a new clip on top of an existing
clip....it should take the position of the existing
clip and move the existing clip to the right.

Scroll to the right and see if you can find a
blank space to drop the new clip on.
