Default Any experience with Logitech Elite (corded) Keyboard and iTouch software?

To all,
Considering the Logitech Elite (corded) keyboard as a replacement.
There is a known issue in the current version of the iTouch software
about a slow shutdown (to be fixed in next release). Anyone have any
experience with either the slow shutdown, or iTouch software? Thanks...

Yeah, the current version causes my system to slow when shutting down. It
only affects me when I have the keyboard connected to the USB and not the
PS/2 port.

One way to get around it is to have the iTouch icon show up in the system
tray. Right click the icon and exit it then shut down your PC. It should
shut down normally after that. (Don't try to unload iTouch from the
taskmanager it never works.)

Testy,
I assume that you mean the iTouch software. What version were you
trying if I could ask? The current one is 2.15...

Thanks to all,
Seems like if you have it plugged into PS/2 port, from what I'm reading
here, doesn't carry the slower shutdown issue with it. I'll have to
download the latest drivers and give it a try. Like someelse mentioned,
the only keys that do not seem to function without the software, that I
can tell, are the f-keys. Thanks again to all

I have a Logitech Cordless Access Keyboard with latest build iTouch software
and have had no problems. It is a great keyboard.

I'm running and Elite Corded with an MX700 Cordless
Mouse both plugged into the USB port on my Port
Replicator. Am running Win XP. I have had no major
problems with the software or hardware. I have one minor
conflict that happened when I updated the software to the
lastest version I get an error on the MusicMatch Jukebox
support. It does not want to work with this program. It
worked fine before the update and I tried reinstalling
the old version and it still won't work. So I just
reinstalled it without the MMJ support and everything
works just fine, even after I reinstalled the update
again...Sorry you are having so much trouble, but it was
just plug it and forget it...
