Wireless networking problems for novice

Hi there to everyone on this newsgroup. I'm new here so
please be gentle
with me. My name Andy. I have a problem with my network
& I was hoping
someone could help me please. The prob is I have 2
computers one with xp
home and the other with xp pro. I want to connect them
both so went and got
two WLI-USB-L11G adapters. They have been installed ok
and are sending info
but they are not talking to each other. Can someone
please send me step by
step instructions on how to do it. I've used the network
wizard but still
nothing. Many thanks in advance for any help.
