Default X Axis Limit

Hi
I have a chart that expands as the information in two columns grow. I find
that the Y-Axis expands with the information, but the X-Axis is fixed, is
there any way I can get the X-Axis to expand also.

Thanks Alec

Format Axis/ Scale:
Ensure that the auto box is selected against min & max values.

Hi David

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry that option is not available to me at present, I'm using Excel 2000,
is this option available on later versions, I'm intending to upgrade in the
near future.

Thanks
Alec

That option has been available since long before Excel 2000. What type of
chart are you using? I assumed that you were using an XY chart.

Hi David

Thanks for your reply
Actually I was using a line chart, as soon as I changed it to XY I got
better results, I,m testing the chart at present and it seems to be just what
I was after.
Thanks again for your time.

Best Regards
Alec
