Default Windows Mail (Vista) - unable to delete e-mail message

I have received a "junk" mail message (confirmed by ISP), I am unable to
delete it - Windows Mail does not action request. Mail still opperates but
clearly this is a MICROSOFT software issue. Is there a fix inhand /
available? Have exhausted all standard options. Chirs (UK)

The recommended "resetting" of Windows Mail has worked a treat, the notes
were extremely acurate! Problem solved....whish they were all so easy!
