WMI Provider Exception when configuring SQL 2005 Reporting Service

I am having trouble configuring Reporting Services. When I get to Database
Setup, I am getting an error when Setting Connection Info for Reporting
Server. When I click on Tell me more about the problem and how to resolve
it, I get the following
"ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.WMIProviderException: An internal error
occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details.
(rsInternalError)
at
ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.RSReportServerAdmin.ThrowOnError(ManagementBaseObject mo)
at
ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.RSReportServerAdmin.ListReportServersInDatabase(RSReportServerInfo[]& serverInfos)".

If I go to the error log the last entry says "Cannot get edition information
from catalog server".

Can anyone help please?
