Default Windows Live Mail

I downloaded Live Mail and ran the install into Vista but although it ran
the first part and asked me to Accept and wait while it checked the computer
it did nothing more.

Has anyone got past this point?

It should get past that point eventually. How long did you wait?

Wow, 2 hours is a long time. We've seen scattered reports
from a few people in the WLM newsgroup who were unable
to install the program. Microsoft has promised a better installer
in the next version of WLM. If you are game to try again, I'm
attaching the uninstall procedure just below my sig.
