Set up on Windows E-mail but want to switch to MS Office Outlook

When I started VISTA I had little knowledge of what my options were and
accepted Windows Mail thinking it was Outlook as with XP....NOOOOOO!!! It's
different!

So, all my old mail was ported into Windows Mail.

I'd like to move all my stuff to Outlook but haven't a clue as "import" from
Outlook finds nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.
