I notice that each time I send an e-mail to an existing contact, the e-mail
is going twice. The address of the person appears as John Doe <john.doe@...>. Is there a way to stop the message being sent more than once to the same contact? |

Go to Tools>accounts and ensure that you only have one instance of your mail account set up, if so remove the extra one. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] UK |

If what Mac has posted is correct then your issue is solved. If you only have 1 account set up then you might also want to disable your Anti Virus integration (email scanning)
