Click on Newsgroups Button on the toolbar>select the ones you
want>subscribe, (or double click a group will do the same).
Now set the synchronize setting for your groups? Click on the news account
name
in the folder tree>right click each group and set to 'all messages'.

Put a Sync All button on the toolbar? View menu>layout>customise
toolbar>select on left>add, move up or down to suit. Now use that to get the
messages.

Tools>options>read>remove checkmark from 'get ### headers'.
