Default Vista Anytime Upgrade DVD

If I go online and purchase an upgrade and I need the disk sent to me, how
long should I expect it to take in order to arrive?

The ordering site should give an estimated delivery date.

Your original vista disk has all the versions on it. When you use Anytime
upgrade, the license (activation key) will unlock the upgraded version.
