Default connection to networked computers

i have an asus g1 with vista ultimate loaded. when i plug in the network
cable i can see and access all computers. when i connect to my home network
wirelessly, through my belkin wireless router i only have internet, sometimes
it sees the other computers and sometimes it doesnt but both times you can
not access them. this is very frustrating as i play games on the local
network. well use too! i have enable private connection and i have an
advanced understanding of networks and still can not fix. please help me with
a solution!

everything works fine but i use it wirelessly. when i connect to the network
wirelessly i can get internet fine but i cannot see or connect to the other
computers on my network. i have 2 computers running vista, one computer
running xp pro and a lan network drive. this is driving me crazy!

tried this already, i think it might have something to do with the router and
how it connects its wired section to its wireless section. i cannot connect
to the routers ip of 192.168.2.1 wirelessly, but can connect to it when
wired. mmm got me thinking.

it was the router!!!!! it had two wpa-psk keys. one gave me full access and
the other was guest access, which allows internet access only. i was using
the guest access key and not the full access key. punched in the new key
everything worked straight away.
thanks for your input though.

cheers steve
