I set up a VPN connection to my work successfully. However, I can't access
the internet when I am connected to the VPN. In order to set up my work email on Outlook I need to connect to the internet. Do I need to change the access setting to be "Local and Internet" instead of just "Local Only". If so, how do I do that??? Help!! |

If your running the Vista PPTP VPN client check this Cable Guy article (written for XP but still pertinent) for help... http://www.microsoft.com/technet/co...guy/cg1003.mspx Note the security issues involved... If your not using the Vista PPTP VPN client let us know. Its possible this is a server side issue depending on what VPN your using. If that is the case you need to talk to the VPN admins at the server end. -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us...
