Default Excel Reinstall

Last night I finished working on some spreadsheets. I closed them and shut
off the computer. This morning I woke up and when I tried to launch excel,
Windows wanted to install excel and asked me for the cd. Why would it do
that? I'm overseas and didn't bring the cd (duh).

It might still run if you just cancel the install immediately.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that earlier to no avail. I first tried to
launch excel by itself, then tried to open a spreadsheet. Neither worked.
Both caused the instal dialogue box to open. After cancelling the install I
was back where I started.
