I had the same problem and used the tool that was given to you but it
wouldn't work! Very frustrating until I figured out that you have to turn off your email protection from McAfee or Nortons' and then go in and make sure Windows Mail is not running. Then it worked fine. It was a very frustrating feeling not to fix this but now that I have, it was interesting. All you needed to do was read the simple instructions on the web site. They couldn't be more straightforward and the author even wrote them in extra large text and highlit them in a red box! As I've said before.. there is something mysterious about the "download" word on websites. It seems to disable a users brain when clicked and they immediately stop reading. > > "Julian" wrote: > >> >> >> "BenBhamUK" <BenBhamUK@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:92659B89-1782-427C-A612-6DF363CFFDED@microsoft.com... >> > within one week of using Vista and Wndows Mail i have encountered this >> > problem. a message is stuck in y outbox, have tried all the basics and >> > followed instructions on deleting the said message from the system >> > folder >> > and >> > this does not work either. >> > >> > help me please!!! >> >> Use this http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx >> according to the instructions. >> |
