I am coming to Windows Mail/Vista from Pegasus Mail/XP and find a couple of
functions missing. Q1. Is there any way to indicate in the list of messages, whether we have replied to a message? I would like a flag to appear automagically when I have replied to a message. Q2. Is there any way to set a mail folder to automatically delete messages after a set period of time? E.G. Inbox messages delete after 90 days, Sent items delete after 60 days, other folders delete after a given time and other folders never delete. Thanks Tony |

I am an OE user.
Doesn't WinMail put a purple arrow on the envelope icon when you reply to a message? The icon changes if you have replied. (little purple arrow) Q2. No. You could make a message rule and apply it manually. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM Do not send mail. |

I never noticed the little purple arrow before, and I still have trouble seeing it on my laptop screen. -- Gary VanderMolen |

I was looking in the flag column for some indication there :-{ > Q2. No. You could make a message rule and apply it manually. Maybe if a developer is listening they might add a few "date" options in the message rules conditions. Thanks to all for the help Tony |
