I have the problem mentioned in other posts, but have yet to find a result.
I have one message that displays the message, "Message could not be displayed Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again." This message is stuck in my outbox, along with all other messages that I've tried to send since this error message appeared. There was a low battery, but I caught the machine and plugged in the adapter before it went out. It seems that my send and receive button is working, but I don't think the message are going out. Please HELP! At the moment I have about 25 messages in my outbox, and only this first shows the error message in the body of the message. |

Move all the good messages to the Drafts folder.
Then the remaining stuck message can be cleared out with the WMUtil program. If it happens again, and you get tired of doing this, switch to the Windows Live Mail email program. EROB,
Have you tried Steve Cochran's utility? It can be found at www.oehelp.com/wmutil. Download the utility, unzip it to the desktop per Steve's instructions. Then run the utility to compact your e-mail. And compact your e-mail every time the dialog box asking if you want to compact your e-mail appears. This procedure worked for me. Hopefully, it will work for you.
