When you start up Windows Mail, if no mail account exists
it will walk you through the process of creating an account. Or you can do it manually: Tools, Accounts, Add. You have to setup an email account with your Internet Service Provider.
They will give you directions on setting up WinMail. -- Ronald Sommer "Allis:Mr Baggins" <AllisMrBaggins@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C91F5CC0-F367-45AC-BC28-8ED5237F3B5F@microsoft.com... : After a few years I went and bought a new HP laptop.Having been away from : computers for awhile,I turned it on and have been surprised at the easy way : that it interacts. The problem I seem to have is starting an Windows mail : account.I can't semm to find were I setup my e-mail or anythng at all.Any and : all help would be greatly aperciated. : -- : With Thanks,Allis Mr. Bagins |

That's the theory, but there seem to be quite a few ISP''s whose first line support is utterly incompetent or worse. Their web site email 'help' is often the best bet. |
