Error when trying to acitvate Windows funktions - wcp.dll

Hello everybody,

i wanted to reinstall some windows vista funktions like terlinal-client.
Every time, when the install is running, i get an error an the install fails.
In the Eventlog i can find

Application Failture TrustedInstaller.exe, Version 6.0.6000.16386, Timestamp
0x4549ae3e, error Modul wcp.dll, Version 6.0.6000.16386, Timestamp
0x4549bdde, Exceptioncode 0x80000003, erroroffset 0x00111840, Prozess-ID
0x154c, applicationstart 01c7a240d85168a5.

In the system protocoll i can find thant the Windows Modules Installer has
ended.

Could someone help me with this problem?

Look for errors in the cbs.log file
c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log and report back what they are.

Can you send me the cbs.log file compressed into a zip file?
Remove the online portion from me email address in my posting.

The title references activation, but the rest of the posting doesn't so
could I get some clarity around what activation issue you are seeing with

The only time this error has been seen before there were problems with the
memory on the systems.
