Windows Mail Slow
Email preview pane has become very slow. Even changing between folders.

Windows Mail is somewhat slow on my computer also. Takes much longer than
Outlook Express under XP. I think MicroSquish will have an update soon. There could be other issues, but I have seen this before. Windows Mail takes forever to load on my system. Probably 10 to 15 seconds

You might want to give Windows Live Mail Beta a try. It's reportedly suppose

Koka Did you update Windows today? If so, and if you have Spybot installed, update KB933566 MAY be the problem - caused issues with WinMail on my machine - just like KB 931768. |

It has options to compact and repair the mail database.
