Default Recycle Bin ... I don't understand this

If I click on Disk Cleanup I am told (after jumping through a few hoops)
that there is nothing to delete, 0 bytes.

When I click on the Recycle Bin itself I see Folders and Files as though I'm
looking at Start \ Computer. If I go to delete something that I see in my
'empty' Recycle Bin I am asked if I wish to send this to the Recycle Bin. I
personally find this strange. If I look in my Recycle Bin I expect to find
either items I have deleted .... or nothing, I do not expect to find 'My
Computer'. Is this just me or is this how Vista deals with the Recycle Bin?

What don't I understand? Thanks, Dave Horne

=================================
You are seeing a Windows Explorer window,
if you see files listed in the right pane...they
are the files that have been deleted.

If you click one of the folders in the left pane...
you will navigate to a different folder and are
no longer viewing the recycle bin.

Look at the top left of the window, it should tell
you which folder you are viewing.
