I've got a Sapphire 1900 version of the ATI video card. From time to
time there will be random parts of the screen that break up in to gibberish. If I refresh the screen in some way it clears it up. Other times the screen will be fine except that the area inside the video window of some video, like from youtube, that area will have broken up spots that come and go. Sometimes random parts of the screen will be blinking gibberish. Is this a sign of problems with the ATI drivers or more likely to be a problem with the video hardware? I've wiggled the card while the system is on to see if it causes anything to happen on the screen and it doesn't. Some days this hardly happens at all and other days it happens a lot. |

Try different Catalysts....usually this type of artifacting isn't hardware. |
