TV Out Setting

Hi,

I have a Radeon 9250 by Club 3D which has the ATI control panel
software with it. I want to use the PC as a media centre PC but seem
be having two problems:

1. I get a black and white output on the screen (even though I have
plugged a laptop in before to the TV with perfect results)

2. The TV out doesn't seem to stay on - I have to plug a monitor in to
get to the ATI control panel up to set the TV out on and then when I
pull the monitor out, the output to the TV stops too!!

Any help would be hugely appreciated!
