Default Excel 2003 comma seperation missing


Hi For some or other reason, the comma seperation for entering the different
criteria in formulas as missing in the 2003 version. All my formulas give
errors. E.g =IF(criteria,[if true],[if false] looks like this now =
IF(criteria [if true] [if false]). Is there a setting that needs to be
changed?
